Booty Poppin' Terkshop Saturday May 12, 2012
The Oasis dance floor was hot, sweaty and full of bounce this Saturday for the Booty Poppin' Twerkkshop event. Booty Popper Profesionelle Shani showed us all how to bounce what our mama's gave us. Four chairs were set up on the dance floor with the men seated and their lovely ladies parading their buxom behinds all around them. Many single ladies and couples throughout the lower level bar area also joined in on the fun. You can bet when the workshop was over the dance floor cleared fast as everyone was hot and bothered and ready for action! Each guest that participated in the workshop was given a free pass to this week's Hot Springs Booty Short Event. This was the first ever booty poppin' workshop at the club and the response was so fantastic that we can't wait to have Shani back again...booty poppin' poolside...we definitely think so!

Everyone was decked out in lei's, grass skirts & Hawaiian shirts this Saturday at Oasis. Our Special Place B&B & The Wratens hosted this Hawaiian themed event and what a success it was! The Tiki drinks were flowing all night, the pool was absolutely packed and we had 3 birthday celebrations, complete with a live ukulele player singing "Happy Birthday!" The crowd loved the live ukulele & Tiki burlesque performance "Keep Your Eyes on Her Hands" where the hula girl motioned sexual innuendos with her hands throughout the song. After the men's loudest Hawaiian shirt contest and the ladies naked limbo contest the crowd was eager to get "lei'd" and filtered throughout the club. Congratulations to our winners, they received a gift certificate to Our Special Place B&B and a pass to the Burlesque Brunch from Great Canadian Burlesque. Special thanks to the Wratens for their generosity, they hand picked and gave away sexy outfits for our guests & staff. Oasis was full of 'gold members' tonight for our James Bond theme. Naked Toni wasn't the only one with the Midas touch, be sure to click on the link above for the full album of photos. Guests enjoyed sipping Martinis while listening to a great mix of retro, house and of course theme songs from all James Bond flicks. A good late night crowd poured into the club, including some TV celebrities (but we must keep that top secret)...you never know who you will meet at Oasis. A curious group of on-lookers in the upstairs red bar were thoroughly enjoying the 'show' they were watching from guests in the voyeur red room, a crowd certainly does draw a crowd. Wink, wink. In fact, the upstairs bar had all the action that night! We were enchanted and entertained by burlesquer Fionna Flauntit, who performed an act as Octopussy; complete with tentacles and all. Guests also enjoyed a little late night shopping for pasties, hair fascinators and more from 'The Original Face.' It was a really fun evening overall, thank you to all who really let their creativity run wild with the theme.

We welcomed some new faces to Fetish Friday and as always the dungeon was very crowded for the better part of the evening. We didn't get any pics of some of the amazing outfits people were wearing..mostly because they didn't stay on long! The club was bustling with a new crowd and Hot Springs regulars. Many people were dancing to DJ Alex Petruz's pulsating tracks and mingling at the downstairs bar. Upstairs things were getting hot & heavy and outside people enjoyed swimming & mingling in the pool. We had some great conversations and a lot of laughs towards the end of the night. The vibe of the whole evening was very relaxed and a lot of fun. Well the joke was on us, March went out like a lion...April Fools! With the sudden temperature drop most of our guests just wanted to stay indoors and soak in the hot tub, work up a sweat in the sauna and of course upstairs. A very glamorous crowd attended Oasis this Saturday, no doubt it had something to do with the burlesque show that was happening later that night. Guests were decked out in their finest, both new and regulars, anxiously waiting for the bevy of beauties that were sure to titillate and tease. Upstairs in the red bar photographer Photolena had a photo booth set up, complete with feather boas, satin gloves and just about everything imaginable to transform you into a burlesque queen...or king. People had a great time rifling through the tickle trunk, trying things on and really got into their new found "characters." Makeup artist Aviva was on site as well; applying red, glittery lipstick, black liquid eyeliner and rhinestones to accentuate the burlesque profile. Back downstairs, a few moments past eleven, the show began with a lovely, classical balloon act by Esther De Ville. Now the audience was warmed up and turned on! Pretty in purple velvet Pastel Supernova delivered a sexy, choreographed dance number that left everyone cheering for more...and they sure got more! The always unexpected neo-burlesque performer Chaos Divine gave a fetish twist with her feisty chastity belt routine. This act did more than peak the interest of our kinky crowd...that belt may still may be in the dungeon! Mysterion the Mindreader hosted the event and blew everyone's minds between the acts. For the grand finale Fionna Flauntit flaunted her sultry, seductive Spanish act for a packed house. Afterwards many shenanigans happened upstairs in the play rooms and many shots were drank at the bar. It seemed that everyone was either in party mode or f**king mode. The pool area was busy until the end of the night, a few threesomes, foursomes and "moresomes" were the culprits. The burlesque ball event had something for all, it was truly a fantastic event. Oasis filled up quickly for the March Break Mexican Fiesta that was Saturday's event. Our margarita specials kept the blender whirring until the wee hours and snacks included nachos with Jana's famous homemade guacamole (top secret recipe). The dance floor sizzled as the fantastic flamenco dancer Pastel Supernova performed. Her sultry and sexy moves inspired everyone to dance to the sounds south of the border...of course that wasn't the only thing that was going on south of the border.

Everyone got lucky on Saturday night for Oasis's Viva Las Vegas party. Super sexy show girls mingled with the guests and strutted their stuff on the dance floor until the wee hours.
