Burlesque Belles
Saturday May 10, 2014 & Hot Springs “Wiggle Wednesday” May 7
By: Fionna Flauntit
Oasis Aqualounge featured two burlesque events this past past week; guests welcomed a bounty of burlesque beauties with twice the wiggle, bounce and bump ‘n grind! The new Hot Springs “Wiggle Wednesdays” featured two shows, one at 8pm and a late show at 11pm. Newcomers to Oasis (and Toronto) Agatha Frisky and Kitty Littèur from Perth, Australia wowed the audiences with their amazing costumes, choreography and that ‘Down Under charm. Oasis resident burlesque babes Fionna Flauntit and Esther De Ville not only hosted both shows but also performed for their Oasis “fans.”
Saturday’s Burlesque Belles also featured newcomers to the Oasis stage; Ruby Moon (winner of the Toronto Burlesque Festival Strip Search and International Burlypicks) and Mona Sirens from Sassy Ray Burlesque. The lovely songstress and striptease siren Sassy Ray was also on the bill. Mona Sirens started the night off with a cute number titled “Nut Sundae” where she slathered boobs with every kind of sundae topping imaginable, complete with whipped cream and cherries on top! Ruby Moon’s performance was a sexy and sultry pole dance strip routine that certainly got everyone all heated up…is that girl ever flexible & fit, wowza! For the finale Sassy Ray strutted her stuff to a classic striptease song and then after her pastie reveal she showed off something completely different…”Assels!” The audience went nuts, this girl had both pastie tassels and “assels” spinning like crazy. After the show everyone had to cool off from all that “burlesque heat” and enjoyed doing so in the recently renovated Oasis pool!

Everybody into the Pool
Pool Refinishing April 28-May 2, 2014
As many of you know the pool was closed for repair during the last few days of April and into the first two days of May. Along with the refinishing of the pool, we also installed a brand new pool heater. We thought our guests might like to see some of the pool refinishing process, it’s not every day you get to witness something like this. A huge thank you to all of the crew involved, it was a lot of long hours, (luckily no blood), lots of sweat, and maybe a few tears…of joy!
We thank our guests for their continued patience and greatly appreciate all of those who still came out to the events during the renovations. The Oasis pool and freshly painted outside courtyard will be the talk of the town from now until many years to come.
