“Sex on the Beach” Customer Appreciation Picnic

This past Saturday’s “Sex on the Beach” Customer Appreciation Picnic was a great success! Due to the media hype the week before, we had some visits from City TV and Global News. Jana was busy all week sharing the Oasis message on TV, radio (Edge 102.1) and with print and online journalists. Our friends from 51 division told us we had to ‘keep our pants on’, so naturally, we did. We’re lovers, not fighters! We met some great new friends who joined us back at Oasis for our Forbidden Fruit festival. We played some beach games and ate sweet and sticky fruit off the hot body of our Oasis beauties. Oh, what a day. It was a hot afternoon on Cherry Beach and was even hotter after we returned to the club. Thank you everyone for coming!

Caribbean Queens & Long Weekend Fun

20130804_004513

The “Caribbean Queens” dazzled guests with massive silk fans, brightly coloured feathered costumes and even fruit adorned headdresses for the tropical themed show this Saturday. The show began with burlesque performances by Dolly Berlin of Great Canadian Burlesque and resident Oasis performer Esther De Ville. A good crowd gathered on the main dance floor as they attentively watched each dancer’s sexy strip tease. You could feel the energy of the crowd getting more turned on as each article of clothing was removed. After a brief intermission guests were lured back to the dance floor for another spectacular show. Everyone was captivated by the Samba dancers from AfroLusaphone as they made their way to the stage through the crowd, especially since most guests recognized Jana (Oasis partner) as one of the performers! The duet performed three numbers, each dance more high energy than the last. For their closing number each Samba gal grabbed a spectator from the audience and formed a conga line throughout the downstairs, everyone got involved and had a blast. The crowd stayed on the dance floor and kept the fantastic energy flowing all night. Even some late comers from upstairs made their way to the dance floor in a hurry to join in the fun!

Earlier that day Oasis guests enjoyed Zumba by the pool, a first for the club. Special thanks to Young Deity for getting everyone pumped up, we look forward to the next session Saturday August 10 at noon.

Glow II

It was all about the glow Saturday night at Oasis. Guests who attended the first Glowevent returned with much excitement as well as many new faces came out to see what it was all about. Everyone was greeted at the door with glow necklaces and bracelets and encouraged to check out the free body painting upstairs in the red bar lounge. The body painters had their hands full all night with participants waiting to become human canvases, each design was unique and beautifully painted. Not only was the red bar showered in black light, the Shaggin’ Wagon play room, hallways and downstairs dance floor also glowed…even the pool had dozens of glow sticks thrown into it! The Shaggin’ Wagon room was one of the busiest rooms, six couples were thoroughly enjoying themselves under the glow of the black lights…the more the merrier they say! Special thanks to our good friends Infinite Body Arts for making this event such an amazing success! Stay tuned for another black light body painting event in the future…
