On Tuesday Jan. 14th, Oasis Aqualounge held there first ever Furries Play Party! This highly anticipated event seemed to cater to both Furries ( “….a subculture interested in fictional anthropomorphic animal characters with human personalities and characteristics…”) and members of Oasis Aqualounge who were looking for something different.
Curiosities were peaked and guests arrived on this mild evening dressed in everything from animal-inspired hats and tails to fetish wear to full fursuits. Everyone was welcome at this event, regardless of their level of interest in this subculture but it was exciting to see different costumes and the various interpretations this fascinating phenomenon!
DJ Saucy Miso entertained the crowd with her special blend of Electro and cyber beats. Her sound was the purr-fect fit for this eclectic event!
A ‘Scritching Booth’ was set up on the main floor. ‘Scritching’ is the act of touching, scratching and grooming in a fun and friendly way. This is a popular act among Furries, as a way to playfully interact with one another. Cat toys, beach balls and glow-in-the-dark squeaky toys were available to those who enjoyed chasing and pouncing on objects!
All facilities at Oasis Aqualounge were available at this event, including the outdoor heated pool, spa facilities and the lovely playrooms. Those were came to play and mate with one another took advantage of the rooms upstairs, while some furry creatures simply enjoyed an evening of cuddles, dancing and scratches around the ears.
This event received a generous donation of Furry Porn by the lovely Jasmine Jade (http://www.jasminejade.info/) and Freaky Steve (https://twitter.com/FreakySteve). Hosts, Miss F and her adorable Little Lamb handed out Furry porn to guests dressed in the most unique and elaborate costumes.

Jana’s Birthday Celebration!
Amidst balloons, streamers and sexy naked bodies, host Miss F greeted guests with party favors, as patrons came from the rainy weather to wish Jana a happy birthday and to enjoy the spa facilities, outdoor heated pool and of course, each other! *wink*
DJ Ellavation played an amazing set of house remixes seasoned with some sexy samba tracks that got lingerie-clad bodies moving on the dancefloor.

Glow III: The Enchanted Forest

The greatly anticipated return of Glow proved to be another smashing success. Oasis was transformed into an enchanted forest drenched in black light on all floors, with glowing floral centre pieces and glow sticks for everyone. The night really started to heat up when Infinite Body Arts arrived around 9:30pm. Oasis guests really got into the theme by wearing all white or just going au natural…bare skin is the perfect canvas you know! The dance floor was buzzing with brightly painted bodies grooving to music while others made music of their own upstairs in the play rooms. The night was hosted by the lovely Bijioux who had tons of fun getting everyone in the mood. Special thanks to Infinite Body Arts for always giving their 100%.
