Oasis Aqualounge is sponsoring TO’s FIRST accessible play party w/ a sexy masquerade theme. We are excited and recognize the importance of this event. Toronto Sun’s article “Accessible orgy a go for disabled” includes an online poll (along with some very offensive comments!). Fight ignorance & ableism. Vote “NO”-this party is not offensive! Sexuality is for everybody!

Tourism Toronto Shuns Sex Club
Oasis Aqualounge attracts guests from downtown Toronto and all over the GTA, but also a large number from outside the city and even outside Canada. The club applied to be a member of Tourism Toronto, an organization that gets much of its funds from government. We’ve been given a song and dance since first contacting them last summer and recently they decided to put off considering our application, again. We think that all legal tax paying businesses should be able to join. What do you think? Make your feelings known by voting in the poll that follows today’s Toronto Sun article titled “Tourism Toronto Shuns Sex Club”.

AquaFlirts + Steam Whistle Takeover Hot Springs
Last Wednesday, during Hot Springs (every Wednesday at Oasis Aqualounge!), we hosted an event to kick off the long weekend; Island Breeze, featuring the steel drum band, Phoenix Revolution and our beer sponsor Steam Whistle Brewery.
