Surf Battle After Party

Sunday June 8, 2014

The Great Lakes Surf Battle wrapped up their two day surf music festival with a Tiki themed pool party at Oasis this past Sunday. Guests showed up wearing loud Hawaiian print t-shirts and ladies quickly changed into the cutest bikini’s, all hoping to win the contests later that day.

The vendors Rockin’ Ramzi’s Pin Up Emporium and Celluloid Sleaze set up, the specialty Tiki drinks were flowing, the BBQ was fired up and soon the party was in full swing. Live bands Luau or Die and The Blue Demons kept the party going with masked go-go dancers and all! Everyone was dancing, drinking and having a blast, despite the cloudy weather outside.

The partied continued seamlessly into the evening for a special “beach themed” Ladies Night Out. Guests were cheering for the sexy and even campy boylesque dancers as they performed two shows, one at 8:00 pm and a late show at 11:00 pm. We can’t wait to do it again next year, this time with some sunshine!

Special thanks to our amazing bartender slinging drinks, Jada -who was rockin’ the grill in the rain under an umbrella and our manager on duty.
