Porn & Popcorn

The sweet smell of popcorn lingered throughout Oasis luring guests upstairs to the red bar lounge, where our makeshift movie theatre was set up showing vintage burlesque footage and short films prior the the main movie screening. Esther De Ville picked some great adult cartoons and various porn to play in the ‘porn’ room as well, which was happily received.

Our special guest and co-host for the evening Darryl Gold from the Hard Liquor and Porn Festival made a compilation of a few short films specifically for this event that were featured at last year’s festival. After Darryl delivered an insightful introduction of the films, the lights dimmed and the magic began! Everyone had a good laugh watching the flicks as they munched on popcorn, it certainly was a fun vibe. Even a few of the film makers were among the crowd, it was great to meet and congratulate them on their work.

After the movie many guests made their way out to the pool (it was such a beautiful night) while others filtered into the play rooms to either watch or join in the fun! Special thanks to Darryl and to the film makers for sharing their magic with us. Another thank you goes out to Esther, Vince, Janus and the “popcorn making staff” for making it all come together!

Glow

Guests were glowing (literally) this Saturday as their bodies were painted under black light. The red bar lounge area was packed all night as body paint masters Infinite Body Arts decorated Oasis guests, while non-participants mingled and enjoyed watching. We welcomed quite a few new members to the club and of course our friends and regulars wouldn’t have missed it for the world. Word has it that even a Canadian celebrity made an appearance!

Although the dance floor was jumpin’ into the late night, many people stayed upstairs and played…all the rooms were full of hot, sweaty, sexy action! Even our ‘resident’ artist Annie Fanny came out & tested her skills (in the black light) by sketching guests & their ‘works of art.’ Overall it was such a successful and fun event, we’re already planning another black light body painting event in the near future…this time with more rooms under black light. Stay tuned.

Sexapalooza

What a whirlwind of a sex-tacular weekend! The lovely Oasis ladies had loads of fun at Sexapalooza meeting all kinds of interesting people and new friends. Many were excited to fill out ballots for a chance to win one out of five Couples Weekend Passes to Oasis and to hear all about the various events the club has to offer, like First Taste,Hot Springs and Pole Dance Night to name a few.

Infinite Body Arts visited our booth for a few hours on Saturday to promote their body painting at the club later that night. Oasis owner Jana, Marketing Coordinator Holly and host of Hot Springs MsKitty took advantage of these talented body painters, showing off their creative designs and encouraging trade show goers to get some done. Our good friends from Genesis even stopped by Saturday to promote their upcoming fetish night at Oasis on Sunday March 10. It was a long weekend but with such upbeat staff on hand the hours seemed to fly by.

Back at the club we were happy to welcome many new guests that had made their way downtown from Sexapalooza. The club was very busy for Sexy Jeans Night, complete with body painters painting ‘denim’ on guests and our illustration artist Annie Fanny popped in too. Lots of couples were busy upstairs playing, no doubt giving the newbies a good show!
