The Oasis AquaFlirts at the 19th Annual Taboo Everything To Do With Sex Show

Oasis Aqualounge exhibited at the 19th annual Everything To Do With Sex Show, presented by Canwest Productions, which was held at the Toronto International Centre  this past weekend from Novmeber 2-November 4.

The Oasis Aqualounge booth was designed to resemble a ‘mini Oasis,’ complete with a bed, which served to showcase our leather play furniture, lockers, VR headsets featuring house-made porn and  a colorful ball pit, occupied by our favorite doll Aquabella Oasis.  We also had a special feature this year; a ‘shadow sex box,’ that hosted live,  Spectator Sex performances by exhibitionist couples.  Performers included those who were previously scheduled and also those who were inspired and decided to jump in, on the spot. Needless to say, it was a huge hit with the crowd.

Visitors of the show were encouraged to enter into a draw to win a Couple’s Weekend Pass and staff handed out 50% coupons that provided reduced admission to first time visitors. Both customer service staff and the Oasis AquaFlirts represented the club, which provided a well-rounded perspective and answers to questions about the venue.

Oasis founder Judy Kaye and Marketing Director/Event Producer Fatima Mechtab presented on ‘Your First Visit To A Sex Club’ all weekend, at the Kink Seminar Theatre. This presentation helped to prepare new couples on what to expect and what to consider when visiting a sex club, as well as general information about Oasis Aqualounge, specifically.

We also participated in a fashion show, featuring items from our clothing line Oasis AquaShop.  In addition to printed bikinis, leggings, dresses and tank tops, we also unveiled our fall/winter pieces, such as cozy sweatshirts, toques, scarves and robes.  These items are available on our online store. Student Slasher Halloween Party

It was a night of thrills and chills at Oasis Aqualounge during our Student Slasher night on October 29.

Guests played a few head-spinning rounds of Twister and enjoyed the mystifying game of Paranoia. The crowd favourite was telling our most side-splitting horrifyingly-embarrassing sexy stories. When the Ouija board was finally brought out, guests gathered for ghostly communication and were shocked that Oasis’ historic spirit coming back to life, through our 19th century mansion walls.

Geordie’s Playing Kinky with Humans workshop brought out the devilish curiosity in all of the patrons and left guests wanting to go home and conduct their own mad experiments.

Oasis is thankful for the many opportunities to celebrate Halloween throughout the week and we hope to see you and all your slasher-loving friends again, next year.

 

Oasis Aqualounge Cannabis Policy

On October 17th of this year, the federal government legalised the recreational use of cannabis. Despite the legalisation, very little information was released regarding the rules around the use of cannabis on business premises. As we’re sure you will all appreciate, the Oasis management has taken some time to review the legislation as well as reach out to our local police division to establish the legality of allowing cannabis use in our smoking area.

As a result of these enquiries, we are pleased to announce that going forward, guests will be permitted to use cannabis in our smoking area.

We respectfully ask that guests adhere to the following rules when using cannabis;

  • The preparation, grinding and rolling of cannabis is only permitted in the smoking area. Please do not prepare cannabis anywhere else on oasis property.
  • Cannabis may only be used in the smoking area. The same rules apply to cannabis as tobacco, meaning consumption of cannabis on the pool deck is not allowed. This includes cannabis vaporisers.
  • Glass items are not allowed inside the club. This rule extends to glass pipes for cannabis use.
