Intersectional Go Topless March

Oasis Aqualounge participated in the official Go Topless Day with an intersectional gathering, that was organized by Marketing Director Fatima Mechtab. This empowering march also served as a peaceful protest to recognize sexual harassment as the main reason why so many women do not exercise their legal right to go topless in Ontario.

Thanks to Gwen Jacob,woman-identified folks won the legal right to be topless in Ontario in 1996.  However, many people do not exercise this legal right, due to sexual harassment and the potential threat of sexual/physical violence.

On Sunday August 26th, folks of all genders, including the Oasis AquaFlirts took to the streets to  get something off their chests, including their tops! This fun and festival day was enjoyed by many, who were able to embrace Topfreedom within a group setting, ensuring more safety in numbers.

We appreciate everyone who came out to march with us, in support of this important message.

Summer Sundays with the Oasis AquaFlirts

With summer in full bloom, the Oasis AquaFlirts have been taking to the streets in Toronto,  promoting the messages of sexual freedom, body positivity and inclusivity, found inside Oasis Aqualounge.

This past Sunday, the AquaFlirts divided into two groups, while on a  mission to talk to those interested in visiting the club. One team visited Pedestrian Sunday in Kensington Market and another team were seen downtown, near Yonge- Dundas Square.

In both cases, the AquaFlirts answered curious questions, shared information about events and provided their own unique perspective about what Toronto’s hottest sex club has to offer.  New visitors were provided with 50% discount coupons to be used towards their first visit.

Wherever they go, the AquaFlirts bring a warm, welcoming and colorful energy. Do you want to meet our promotional team? Catch them at the upcoming Taste Of The Danforth festival on Saturday August 11th.

Charity Clothing Swap & Raffle

Racks of clothing in a rainbow array of colors overflowed the ballroom on Monday July 23rd during our Sass After Class Swap Night & Raffle event.  The clothing swap event brought in bargain hunters and good Samaritans.

All proceeds and leftover clothing were donated to Jessie’s Center.  Andrew-a guest who made a cash donation in exchange for a chance to look through the clothes described finding the perfect tweed jacket  as”better than sex”.

Those who made cash donations were entered into a draw  to win a TOUCH automatic warming lube dispenser! Congrats to our winner Delroy;  we hope you get great use out of it!

Jessie’s Center was also  touched that Oasis’ guests donated two duffel bags worth of clothing, along with a cash donation. We are so honored to welcome a community of people  who are so generous and kindhearted.
