The Oasis AquaFlirts At No Pants Subway Ride

On Sunday January 13, the 17th annual No Pants Subway Ride occured simutaneously across 50 cities around the world. The Oasis AquaFlirts took part  in the Toronto event, with participants meeting at Dundas Subway station, beside the Eaton Centre at 3pm.

This delightful initiative began as a way to bring a smile to transit commuters and as the organizers from the No Pants Society quoted ‘…pants are just a fancy word for leg jail.’  Considering our clothing-optional environment at Oasis Aqualounge, we could not agree more.

However, when an occassion calls for bottoms, the AquaFlirts opted for our classic booty shorts, which are available for purchase from Oasis AquaShop or by visiting the club.

The AquaFlirts enjoyed a spirited, pantless subway ride which lasted about an hour, followed by the No Pants Afterparty. They connected with other attendees, spreading the Oasis values of body-positivity and sexual liberation and handing out discount coupons to those who were interested in a first-time visit.

This was the first AquaFlirt outing of 2019 and our promotional team is looking forward to more chances to meet people in the city who are interested in what Oasis Aqualounge has to offer.  Stay tuned for future sightings of the AquaFlirt team!

The Oasis AquaFlirts at the 19th Annual Taboo Everything To Do With Sex Show

Oasis Aqualounge exhibited at the 19th annual Everything To Do With Sex Show, presented by Canwest Productions, which was held at the Toronto International Centre  this past weekend from Novmeber 2-November 4.

The Oasis Aqualounge booth was designed to resemble a ‘mini Oasis,’ complete with a bed, which served to showcase our leather play furniture, lockers, VR headsets featuring house-made porn and  a colorful ball pit, occupied by our favorite doll Aquabella Oasis.  We also had a special feature this year; a ‘shadow sex box,’ that hosted live,  Spectator Sex performances by exhibitionist couples.  Performers included those who were previously scheduled and also those who were inspired and decided to jump in, on the spot. Needless to say, it was a huge hit with the crowd.

Visitors of the show were encouraged to enter into a draw to win a Couple’s Weekend Pass and staff handed out 50% coupons that provided reduced admission to first time visitors. Both customer service staff and the Oasis AquaFlirts represented the club, which provided a well-rounded perspective and answers to questions about the venue.

Oasis founder Judy Kaye and Marketing Director/Event Producer Fatima Mechtab presented on ‘Your First Visit To A Sex Club’ all weekend, at the Kink Seminar Theatre. This presentation helped to prepare new couples on what to expect and what to consider when visiting a sex club, as well as general information about Oasis Aqualounge, specifically.

We also participated in a fashion show, featuring items from our clothing line Oasis AquaShop.  In addition to printed bikinis, leggings, dresses and tank tops, we also unveiled our fall/winter pieces, such as cozy sweatshirts, toques, scarves and robes.  These items are available on our online store. Oasis AquaFlirts Support 30th Annual AIDS Walk Toronto

Graced with beautiful weather, the Oasis Aquaflirts had an amazing time at the 30th Annual Aids Walk held in Nathan Phillips Square on September 16th.

Sex-positive booths provided educational and practical materials such as condoms, lube and brochures which created a judgement-free atmosphere very similar to Oasis Aqualounge. The Aquaflirts had enjoyed spreading their wonderful energy, while having fun in the sun, promoting our upcoming events. 

Connecting with the other promoters and participants during the walk, the Aquaflirts had the chance to talk about our lovely club and learn about the various organizations that support the LGTQ+ and POZ+ communities in Toronto. Filled with creative signage, inspiring performers and refreshments,  the annual Aids Walk was an afternoon to remember!
